Funnel breakdown (last 7 days vs. prior 7)
- Cart to Shipping. Held steady at 71% conversion, no meaningful change.
- Shipping to Payment. Dropped from 64% to 48% — the single biggest contributor to the overall decline.
- Payment to Confirmation. Slipped slightly from 89% to 85%, within normal weekly variance.
What the session replays show
- Coupon field error. In 12 of 20 sampled replays, users hit a silent validation error on the promo-code field and abandoned at the Payment step.
